On the afternoon of July 19, 2014 about 80 former parishioners, members of St. Henry’s Historical Society, and friends attended a Blessing of the Stations of the Cross and Meditation Shelter donated by Nonee  and Bob Bonertz.

Patrick Hochstein opened with a welcome and introduction, outlining the history of St. Henry’s and the Bonertzs’ beautiful donations.

Father Silvano Vargas, pastor of St. Michael’s Parish in Pincher Creek, blessed the Stations and the Meditation Shelter, accompanied by 3 Knights of Columbus (Tom Halbert, Carson Rine, and Darren Sorge), Father Lacombe Council #2674.   He then led the Stations of the Cross.

A pot luck lunch followed.
